Our fraud detection program regularly monitors card
transactions for signs of suspicious activity outside your normal spending
patterns, such as purchases at unusual times or geographical locations, or
purchases that are inconsistent with previously identified trends.
If potentially fraudulent transactions appear to be taking
place, we’ll contact you immediately to verify their authenticity.
Getting in Touch with you Quickly is Critical to Stopping Potential Card
You’ll receive a text message that contains the
name of our bank, the dollar amount of the transaction, the name of the
merchant and a 5-digit code. Please don’t reply to the message with any
personal or confidential information.
If you authorize the transaction, simply reply
to the message with the word “YES”. You’ll receive a confirming text message
and can continue to use your card with confidence.
If you didn’t authorize the transaction, reply
to the message with the word “NO”. After you receive a confirming text message,
you’ll be immediately contacted by one of our fraud specialists. Please answer
this important phone call.
If you’d like to opt out of receiving these
important messages via text, you may reply with “STOP” to indicate your preference.
From that point on, we’ll notify you by calling the phone number on your
account. If we can’t reach you by phone, a letter will be mailed to your
